Elementary Schools in Yorkville CUSD 115

The six elementary schools in Yorkville CUSD 115 serve students from prekindergarten through grade 6, with enrollments ranging from 192 to 728. In 2025–2026, their unweighted average was 62% proficient in all-grades ELA and 54% in math, above state averages of 56% and 40%. But results varied widely from school to school, so the district-wide averages do not tell families what to expect at any one school.

Bristol Grade School led all-grades ELA at 71%, while Yorkville Grade School narrowly led all-grades math at 63.2%, compared with Bristol Grade’s 62.7%. At the other end, Circle Center Grade School had the lowest all-grades ELA score, 44%, and Autumn Creek Elementary School had the lowest math score, 38%. Grade 3 comparisons also show different strengths: Bristol Grade led ELA at 71%, while Grande Reserve Elementary School led math at 69%; Autumn Creek was lowest in grade 3 math at 34%. In grade 5 science, Bristol Bay Elementary School led at 52%, while Autumn Creek scored 34%. The three schools with reported science results averaged 46%, below the state’s 48%.

Recent changes were stronger in ELA than in math: the six-school ELA average rose 7 points from 2024–2025 to 2025–2026, while the math average rose 1 point. Those averages mask different school trends: Yorkville Grade’s ELA increased 21 points, while Circle Center’s fell 8; Bristol Grade’s math rose 14 points, while Circle Center’s fell 13. SchoolDigger’s statewide percentile rankings also declined for Autumn Creek, from 63 to 40 over three years, and Bristol Bay, from 74 to 66; their star ratings fell from 3 to 2 and 4 to 3, respectively. The 2024–2025 free/reduced lunch eligible measure ranged from 22% at Grande Reserve to 38% at Yorkville Grade, while student-teacher ratios ranged from 11.0 to 16.0. These are useful points of comparison, but neither measure follows a simple pattern with test results. Grade-5 science results were reported for only three schools.
