Summary:
Oregon CUSD 220 has two schools serving 1,406 students: Oregon Elementary School serves PK–6, and Oregon Junior/Senior High School serves grades 7–12. In 2025–26, both schools were above the state in All Grades ELA, but their mathematics results diverged sharply: Elementary scored 49% versus 40% statewide, while Junior/Senior High scored 30%. The clearest difference between the schools is mathematics, where their results were 19 points apart.
Oregon Elementary stands out in mathematics: its All Grades result was 10 points above the state, and its fourth-grade result was 19 points above the state (61% versus 42%). Its fifth-grade science result was also strong, at 59% compared with 48% statewide. Oregon Junior/Senior High led in All Grades ELA, scoring 65%—8 points above the state and 6 points above Elementary. Its eighth-grade ELA was 8 points above the state, but eighth-grade mathematics was 9 points below. The high school also had a 96% graduation rate, 7 points above the state, alongside chronic absenteeism of 27%, 4 points above the state.
Recent results show ELA scores falling at both schools: by 5 points at Elementary and 7 at Junior/Senior High from 2024–25 to 2025–26, even as the state result rose 3 points. Mathematics changed less consistently: Elementary fell 4 points, while the high school rose 1. SchoolDigger’s 2025–26 statewide rankings were similar—58th percentile for Elementary and 59th for Junior/Senior High—though Elementary’s ranking had declined from the 75th percentile in 2023–24; rankings are relative positions, not proficiency changes. Enrollment is 779 at Elementary and 627 at the high school, with student–teacher ratios of 14.8 and 14.4, respectively. Both report free/reduced lunch eligible for 2024–25: 51% at Elementary and 49% at the high school. Because the schools serve different grade spans, their All Grades scores are not like-for-like comparisons.
