Summary:
Libertyville School District 70 has five schools in the Libertyville area: four elementary schools serving kindergarten through grade 5, with Butterfield School also serving prekindergarten, and Highland Middle School serving grades 6–8. In 2025–26, all five schools’ all-grades ELA and math results exceeded state results: the five-school averages were 81% in ELA and 73% in math, versus 56% and 40% statewide. Still, school results varied by 19 points in ELA and 18 points in math, making those differences the most important distinction for families.
Highland had the highest all-grades ELA result, at 90%, but the lowest math result, at 65%.
