LeRoy CUSD 2 has three schools serving prekindergarten through grade 12: LeRoy Elementary School (PK–6), LeRoy Junior High School (grades 7–8), and LeRoy High School (grades 9–12). Together, they enroll 739 students, or about 246 per school on average. Results are strongest overall at the high school and weakest in the junior high’s current IAR results. The clearest area-level concern is junior-high performance: its all-grades ELA and math proficiency were 47% and 26%, respectively, 9 and 14 points below state results.
LeRoy High School stands out at the top: grade 11 ACT proficiency was 8 points above the state in ELA, 10 points above in math, and 12 points above in science. LeRoy Elementary School shows a clear strength in math, with 48% proficient across grades versus 40% statewide; its SchoolDigger ranking is the 49th percentile with 2 stars. LeRoy Junior High School is the lowest-ranked school, at the 27th percentile with 1 star, and its grade 7 and 8 results were below state results in both ELA and math.
Recent changes are mixed: elementary all-grades math rose 3 points, while ELA fell 3; junior-high all-grades math fell 10 points, and grade 8 science dropped 12 points. High-school grade 11 science rose 9 points, while ELA fell 9 and math was unchanged.
