Galileo Stem Academy

Galileo Stem Academy is a PK–8 school in Eagle, Idaho, serving 796 students as part of Joint School District No. 2, and it is one of the most consistently high-performing schools in the state. In 2025–2026, the school ranked #5 out of 346 Idaho schools—99th percentile, 5 stars. Beyond test scores, Galileo's attendance is exceptional: chronic absenteeism is just 6.5%, the lowest among nearby schools and roughly half the district (12.7%) and state (13.8%) averages. Only 7.66% of students qualify for free/reduced lunch, compared with 14.79% at Seven Oaks Elementary and 34.25% at Star Elementary, reflecting a predominantly affluent attendance area. Notably, Galileo achieves top results with a higher student–teacher ratio (21.6) than most peers, suggesting strong instructional efficiency.
