South Fremont High School in Saint Anthony, Idaho, serves 462 students in grades 9–12 and is part of the Fremont County Joint District, a mid-sized rural school system. In-district, North Fremont outperformed South Fremont on 2025–2026 math and ELA exams, though South Fremont led in science. Only Valley View Alternative High School shows a higher chronic absenteeism rate. While the latest graduation figure of 82.5% matches the district and state (possibly a reporting artifact), the longer trend suggests South Fremont has historically succeeded at graduating students. The path forward likely lies in improving attendance, boosting math and science instruction, and supporting an increasingly diverse student body rather than simply increasing funding.
