Open Quote Two schools have received the 2011 Idaho Distinguished School Award from the Idaho State Board of Education. Lakevue and Desert Springs Elementaries were 2 of only 12 schools statewide to receive this prestigious and hard-earned recognition.

At the national level, Lakevue Elementary was recognized as a National Title 1 award winner for extraordinary achievement by students in math, language arts and reading, one of only 50 such honorees in the nation. Close Quote
