Open Quote As I teacher I have worked with multiple principals and elementary school staff. This is the most unprofessional group of "professionals" I have ever worked with. The principal is the most mentally unstable human being I have ever met. She has little to no emotional control. She once stopped a parent meeting to scream at the top of her lungs at students right outside the door. It was excruciatingly embarrassing. She functions much like 6th grade mean girl both cognitively and socially. She is unable to focus on anything in order to accomplish anything. She is unable to follow through on commitments, obligations to staff, and or deadlines. To compensate she makes up scenarios where she is the hero and of a HUGE HR mess, usually a villainous staff situation. It's much like children blaming a sibling to shift the burden of blame. To ensure this simpleton ploy works with her supervisors she spends most of her time gaslighting and gossiping with a large amount of low-level building staff to create social dominance to create a scenario where one staff person is single-handily destroying the building's success. She rallies the troops with half-truths and emotions to make sure they know she is not the one who is failing Poyner. Teacher X is. These low-level, under-educated, under-supported, and under-paid employees love the power they feel when conspiring with a school administrator, who gives them extra breaks, plus they achieve feelings of safety in a toxic work environment. Principal nut job also ENCOURAGES student management behaviors such as bullying, verbal abuse, and physical restraint to control the students as she is terrified, she does not look in control. She sneers at research-based methods to shape behavior and dictates the most disabled students never show they are different. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
