Mountain View, Hawaii is home to just two schools in this data set — Mountain View Elementary School (PK–5, 468 students) and Na Wai Ola - PCS (PK–8, 145 students) — both part of the Hawaii Department of Education and together enrolling 613 students, with Mountain View Elementary holding about 76% of that total.
Academically, Mountain View Elementary School has the edge in every subject, despite serving a higher-poverty population. In 2025–26, 34% of its students were proficient in English Language Arts, 26% in math, and 32% in science, compared with 30%, 7%, and 29% at Na Wai Ola - PCS. Science is the closest subject between the two, just 3 points apart.
