Open Quote My son has been attending Chestnut Mountain for a year now. Their principal is deffinately the best I have ever seen in any school. You will never find him just sitting at his desk, he personaly evaluates every class, interact with students, teachers and parents. My son is a tough kid to teach. He is an extremely stubborn child, but is so happy at Chestnut Mountain and as a kindergarten student is already reading, writing and doing math on a 1st grade level. I do not understand why this school is ranked this low! I know 3 parents that have tried to get the school board to move their children over from CW Davis, Martin and Oakwood elementary. This is the reason I believe reviews etc, doesn't matter. Because my first hand experience with this school is different from the 3 star rating. Close Quote
