Open Quote My children have loved this school and learned so much. The staff is caring and respectful. Teachers and staff work to ensure that students are loved and supported and willing to help families in need. I'm so grateful for the Baldwin family. Close Quote

Open Quote My child previously attended this school. This is an awful school to enroll your child in! If your child has to be absent.. keep records! They’ll have you in court, claiming your child was absent even on days they were present! YOU REALLY DO HAVE TO PROVE THEM WRONG AND THEY HATE IT WHEN YOU CAN AND WILL NOT APOLOGIZE! They try to make you look like a bad parent and REALLY DO PICK ON SINGLE MOTHERS! Never have I ever been treated so badly.. the principal and asst principal are very RUDE and HATEFUL! The school staff are extremely disrespectful with the exception of a “handful” of good teachers and when I say handful.. I mean like 3 or 4...and of course only one lady in the office! I would NEVER CONSIDER SENDING ANOTHER ONE OF MY CHILDREN HERE EVER AGAIN! If not for keeping records of my own.... I would have went through a ton of unnecessary things, all because of their lies and inability to keep Accurate records of my child’s attendance! They should be ashamed of themselves! To be honest, in my opinion... most need to lose their jobs! Close Quote

Open Quote Baldwin Elementary is all about bullying and harassment. My son was there for less than 5 months for kindergarten and it was absolutely terrible!! I was accused of not taking care of my son and had the guidance counselor and some other lady banging on my door.. nothing to do about how to get my son home, but how I am an awful parent.. I am a single mother, I work 3rd shift to support my son. I don't live off the government or have the luxury to be a stay at home mom.
So, make sure that you are a perfect parent, that is married before sending your child there. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
