Open Quote For the single year I sent my child to HMS, it was torture. The teachers were cold and robotic, showing no interest in teaching whatsoever. My child would often come home bored out of his mind due to the teachers giving them unreasonable amounts of homework and classwork. He complained about the cafeteria food daily, saying that it makes his stomach hurt. I advise any parent looking into this school to turn back and go to a better school like Northwestern Middle School. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
