High Schools in Liberty County

Liberty County is home to two public high schools serving grades 9-12: Bradwell Institute and Liberty County High School, both part of the Liberty County district, which currently holds a 2-star rating and ranks 129th out of 201 districts statewide.

For parents, the standout is Liberty County High School, which is clearly outperforming its larger counterpart. It jumped 69 spots in the state ranking to 193rd (3 stars) and beats Bradwell Institute in every subject tested. In Algebra I, 30.8% of Liberty County HS students are proficient versus just 17.9% at Bradwell; in Biology, the gap is even wider at 43.6% versus 23.1%. The district's overall 2-star rating masks the fact that Liberty County HS is performing at a 3-star level, while Bradwell's decline is pulling the district down.
