Bradwell Institute sucks at discipline, and that overshadows everything else.
The district puts a lot of pressure on the school to limit number of referrals... as a result a lot of bad behavior is swept under the rug. Only problem is bad behavior escalates if it is not addressed. Administrators don't support teachers and students know it. As a result, students are often rude and outright defiant. Students wander the halls constantly instead of going to class, or play on their phones instead of doing work. Fights break out all the time and students do drugs in the bathrooms.
It's a shame, because there are a lot of good kids who deserve a quality education... Close Quote

Absolutely horrible school. The teacher spend more time breaking up fights with the wanna be gang members then teaching. The teachers do not teach at all. My neighbors son goes to bradwell with my son. My sons friend was telling us about how he does not have to turn any of his work in on time and still gets 100 credit on it and that his teacher doesn't even grade them. He said she just takes the picture and gives him a 100. So I had my son not turn in a assignment. Then I had him answer all the questions wrong and turn it in a week late. When he turned it in the teacher gave him a 100. She didn't even look at it.

This school is the worst school I have ever seen. I am pulling my son out after this year. Close Quote

The academics are relatively advanced. For the most part, the sports program is decent. What we lack in athleticism we make up for with our academics. Many of the teachers are friendly and ready to help. The school can be strict about certain things, such as dress code, but if you obey the rules (and code of conduct) you should be fine. The school really focuses on safety and being college ready. The school is continually- albeit slowly- getting better. Close Quote

MY DAUGHTER GOT DETENTION FOR HER BELT...SHE WORE THAT BELT AT LIBERTY COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL FOR THE 1.5 YEARS SHE WAS THERE, THEN WE MOVED TO THE OTHER SIDE OF HINESVILLE AND SHE HAD TO GO TO BRADWELL STILL USING THE SAME BELT, NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN THERE IS A PROBLEM AND WE DID NOT GET A WARNING OR ANYTHING, SOME OF US AS PARENTS HAVE JOBS AND OTHER KIDS TO DEAL WITH AND WHEN STUPID THINGS LIKE THIS COME UP WE HAVE TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR OUR CHILD, BUT MY ISSUE IS THE BELT, NOW THAT BARDWELL HAD A PRINCIPLE THAT CAME FROM ELEMENTRY NOW HE WANTS ALL THESES CHANGES AND I WILL NOT HAPPEN OVER NIGHT. I DID NOT EVEN KNOW THERE WOULD BE A NEW PRINCIPLE FOR BRADWELL, IT WAS A SHOCKER. BUT DETENTION OVER A BELT THAT SHE HAD WORN FOR TWO YEARS IS AWFUL!!!! Close Quote
