THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON THE NEW PRINCIPAL

The new principal does not seem to accept constructive critical parental input.

our impression is she has instilled a spirit of fear in all the teachers , which fear may not the most appropriate word she demands total unfettered loyalty, which does not allow experienced teachers to conduct discussions with parents in a private manner.
she has to be informed of all correspondence with teachers who have thoughts or concerns about their children.
this doesn't allow teachers to speak in matters that a "normal" principal would not need to concern herself with , because you would think a 20 year teacher could handle the situation . In other words she inserts herself into everything which results in HER OPINION being the one that must be followed, the teachers will not complain because their paycheck is at stake.

I speak on this subject as several (about 15 ) parents are concerned and we talk about these concerns outside of school. The school last year seemed a much happier place, now not so much.

IT SEEMS HER MAIN PRIORITY IS TO GET THE CHILDREN IN BY 7:45 AND OUT BY 3:30 REGARDLESS OF WEATHER CONDITIONS, WHICH HAS NEARLY RESULTED IN SEVERAL CARS ALMOST REAR ENDING EACH OTHER DURING PICKUPS . SHE BRAGGS ON THE TIME SHE HAS REDUCED IT TOO

it just appears that her ideas are causing problems with both the experienced teachers and parents and it is not because she is new!!!

I CAN NO LONGER RECOMMEND SENDING YOUR CHILD TO NDCS UNTIL A NEW PRINCIPAL IS PLACED THERE OR HER BOSSES ARE TOLD HOW SHE IS DOING.

THE MOST CRITICAL ISSUE WE HAVE WITH HER IS HER APPARENT DISREGARD FOR THE PARENT'S VIEWPOINT , IT IS HER WAY OR THE HIGHWAY!!! SHE GIVES VERY LITTLE CREDENCE TO THE PARENTS VIEWPOINT OR THEIR BACKGROUND
