Open Quote I write this review with the most severe disappointment I can muster. My son was with ECS preschool since he was 1.5 and we absolutely ADORED the teachers and staff in the preschool. We were excited for his growth in the "big school" as he got ready to enter K4. My son struggles with change, so during my very first interaction with his teacher I notified her of this, hoping she could work with me to help him to be successful. We hit some resistance from both our son and his teacher, but it is understandable, they were new to each other. I requested a meeting with the teacher and school counselor to get all of us some additional help, as my son was coming home stating that he was a "bad boy" and was "nervous to go to school." This was ignored. Then came another situation where a teacher who did NOT know the kids in the class was alone with them, and multiple children were "written up" for nothing more than harmless playing. I then requested a meeting with Mrs. Schuford to discuss my concerns. Once again ignored. Then after pushing some more, advocating for my child, I got my meeting, sort of. She met us in the lobby, refusing to meet in a conference room and told us that we simply are not a good fit for their school. My son was pushed out because I tried to advocate for him. For a school that preaches the word of God, forgiveness and acceptance, they are quick to dismiss those who do not fit perfectly and quietly in their "box." I have never in my life been so disrespected by someone who calls themselves a professional and claims to dedicate themselves to help children to grow, and I fear for the children who are there and are forced to conform. Open Quote ECS is so warm and so welcoming to parents and students. My children are so happy to go to school every day. We have no family in town so it was like adopting a whole new family! We have been beyond impressed with their teachers and we love how we are included in Chapel and other school wide activities. Close Quote

Open Quote Wow, nice rip off review. New Press just indicated that 12 sexual predators are within one mile of of the school. Teaches are having affairs with staff members. Not a good place to send you kids. Keep looking. Close Quote

Open Quote WOW!! As a parent of two children at this school, I cannot even begin to express our gratitude to God for leading us to ECS. The teachers are very loving to our children, yet they challenge them both spiritually and academically everyday. I have the ability to be kept in the loop on my childrens progress, and I'm confident that my children are being trained up to be future leaders. The leadership to the school is second to none. Their, athletic program competitive and is growing every day, and the coaches stress glorifying Christ before anything else. If you re not at ECS you are missing out in something good and God honoring. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
