We visited and compared the various schools in the area and were thrilled to discover Athenian Academy. Our 2 girls are thriving at Athenian Academy and absolutely love the chorus. Amazing teachers, staff, and administration. The school seems to offer something every month for families to do. We couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll our girls here. Close Quote

This school has always been a diamond in the rough - and now that new leadership is in place, it is going to shine like never before! As an involved parent and active volunteer, I have seen the good and the bad - there have been a few rough patches along the way, but the new principal and the team of excellent teachers are on course to make this the best year yet. This school lacks in many areas such as discipline, administration's ability to run this school and the teachers are for the most part very poor. I would not send my child to this school under any circumstance, especially if they are ESE and need special attention. The administration does nto have a clue how to run an ESE program properly and the state of Florida needs to investigate the illegal procedures that are going on in this school with the students' IEP's at the direction of the Asst.
