When comparing Little River Elementary to nearby schools, such as Lawton Chiles Elementary and Deerwood Elementary, the latter two consistently outperform Little River in academic proficiency. Meanwhile, Azalea Park Elementary and Pinar Elementary have similar academic performance to Little River, suggesting a need for targeted interventions and support across this group of schools. Open Quote The school seems underemployed. When I drop off my child in the mornings, there is NO teacher present on most days leaving the child to walk alone into the school. Also, at dismissal parents have a green pass with the child's name which is supposed to be taken out prior to pick up, however, most days there are NO teachers walking the children to the cars leaving the children to walk to the cars alone and the majority of the time the ladies outside do not check for the green pass. This school needs to improve their security and have more teacher presence outside the school in the mornings and afternoons. Close Quote
