Summary:
ZIP code 95678 has 15 schools: seven elementary schools, one middle school, three high schools and four alternative schools. Results are mixed: some schools score well above California averages, while others are far below. Across the 12 schools with 2025–26 all-grades results, the distance between the highest and lowest scores was 41 points in ELA, 54 in math and 43 in science. The most important finding for families is that the ZIP code’s overall picture hides sharply different school-level results.
William Kaseberg Elementary led the latest all-grades ELA results at 67%, while Thomas Jefferson Elementary led math at 58%; both were about 17–19 points above state results in their leading subjects. Ferris Spanger Elementary had the highest science result, 51%, 15 points above the state. At the other end, Bradford Woodbridge Fundamental Elementary scored 26% in ELA, 18% in math and 14% in science, and was below the state in ELA and math in every tested grade from 3 through 5. Adelante High (Continuation) was lowest in all-grades math and science, at 3% and 8%. The same-grade comparison is similarly stark: in grade 11, John Adams Academy – Roseville scored 80% in ELA, 54% in math and 59% in science—52, 50 and 52 points above Adelante, respectively.
Results changed unevenly from 2024–25 to 2025–26: across the same 12 schools, average scores rose by 1 point in ELA, 1 in math and 3 in science, but individual schools moved in different directions. George Cirby Elementary gained 21 points in science, while Kaseberg fell 13; Adelante’s ELA rose 18 points but remained at 27%. SchoolDigger rated Kaseberg in the 80th percentile with four stars and Jefferson in the 79th percentile with four stars, compared with Bradford Woodbridge in the 12th percentile with one star. Income figures are context, not an explanation: in 2024–25, 88% of Bradford Woodbridge students and 58% of Kaseberg students were eligible for free or reduced-price lunch, despite their very different results.
