ZIP code 91601 has four high schools, enrolling 69 to 2,444 students; three serve grades 9–12, while Science Academy STEM Magnet serves grades 6–12. The latest proficiency results are for 2025–2026, and the unweighted average across the schools is above the state in all three subjects, though that average is lifted by one exceptionally high-performing school. The most important finding is how sharply results vary: the gap between the highest- and lowest-performing schools is 90 percentage points in ELA, 83 in math and 97 in science.

Science Academy STEM Magnet leads, with 99% proficient in ELA, 99% in math and 100% in science; it is ahead of the next school by 26, 58 and 48 percentage points, respectively. That lead also holds in grade 11, so it is not simply a result of including younger students. North Hollywood Senior High is next, at 73% in ELA, 42% in math and 52% in science.
