Six high schools in ZIP code 90245 serve grades 9–12, from 32 students at Arena High (Continuation) to 1,232 at El Segundo High. Across schools with reported 2024–2025 results, the average was 55% in ELA, 32% in math, and 31% in science; compared with state results, those averages were 6 points higher in ELA, 5 lower in math, and 2 lower in science. The most important finding for families is how widely results differ from one school to another.

El Segundo High led reported 2024–2025 results in ELA and math, scoring 82% and 62%—8 and 14 points above the next-highest school in each subject—and was above the state by 34 and 24 points. Da Vinci Science led reported science results at 49%, 14 points above Da Vinci Communications. At the other end, Da Vinci RISE High had the lowest reported scores in all three subjects: 12% in ELA, 3% in math, and 16% in science. Recent results moved in different directions: from 2024–2025 to 2025–2026, El Segundo’s ELA fell 7 points while math rose 8; RISE’s ELA and math rose 1 and 3 points, while science fell 8. SchoolDigger’s statewide ranking percentile also varied: El Segundo moved from 95 to 94, while RISE went from 19 to 16 between 2024–2025 and 2025–2026.
