Summary

Twelve Bridges Elementary is a large, highly-rated public school serving 744 students in grades K-5 within the Western Placer Unified district in Lincoln, consistently ranking in the top 15% of all California elementary schools.

The school stands out for its strong and consistent academic performance, where students significantly outperform both district and state averages in English, math, and science. It is particularly effective in supporting diverse student groups, with historically high achievement for Hispanic, special education, and economically disadvantaged students. Furthermore, the school has an exceptionally low chronic absenteeism rate of just 4%, far better than the district and state averages, indicating a highly engaged student body and supportive school culture.

Compared to other high-performing schools in the area, like Valley View Elementary or Quarry Trail Elementary in Rocklin Unified, Twelve Bridges achieves its excellent results very efficiently, operating with a higher student-teacher ratio and lower per-student spending. While it leads its own district, outperforming nearby Lincoln Crossing Elementary, one area for attention is a recent decline in standardized test scores for multi-racial students, which the school will likely address.

Open Quote Great school- high academic expectations, friendly kids, welcoming community. We moved here from Danville, in the Bay Area. The academics at this school were on par with those in Danville, a highly respected school district with top notch schools. We were nervous leaving such a good school district, but I’m so happy we made the move to the 12 Bridges neighborhood!!! We couldn’t be happier here in this hidden gem of an area Close Quote
