North Tahoe High serves 468 students in grades 9–12 in Tahoe City, within the mountain communities of the Tahoe-Truckee area. Its latest results show strong graduation outcomes: 98% of students graduate, compared with 94% districtwide and 88% statewide. The clearest academic takeaway is a split between strong English results and weaker math, especially compared with the district.

English language arts (ELA) is a strength: 63% of students are proficient, versus 49% statewide and 62% in the Tahoe-Truckee Unified district.
