Serving 2,065 students in grades 8–12, Franklin High is a large high school in Stockton, part of Stockton Unified. Its strongest subject is English language arts (ELA), but its clearest academic concern is math: 9% of students met proficiency in 2025–26, compared with 18% districtwide and 38% statewide.

ELA is a relative strength across comparison groups: 42% of Franklin students met proficiency, 13 percentage points above the district and 7 below California.
