San Mateo Park Elementary is a K–5 school in San Mateo, serving 340 students in the San Mateo-Foster City district. The most important finding is that its 2025–26 proficiency results were far below district and state results and below every nearby K–5 school in English language arts (ELA), math, and science.

This school is comprised of caring, responsible, creative, and curious students. The pod structure of the school make it a cozy and nurturing environment with the library at its heart. The outdoor space, with it's garden, large natural lawn, two blacktops, large playground, and peripheral tree-lined area, is a haven for play. My colleagues are also dedicated educators who strive to meet the academic and social emotional needs of our diverse student population. Close Quote
