Open Quote Having recently leaving this school into high school I feel like should give my two cents. In all honesty this school isn't the greatest like everyone says it is. Yes some of the teachers are good, but I feel it ill-prepared for high school. Granted I'm not going to Rowland, but I feel this school should have prepared me in some way. The first week of high school was very difficult for me. So in conclusion, if you want to your child at Ybarra no ones stopping you, but I suggest you move them to Suzzanne for junior high. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
