Open Quote Tierra Bonita has an incredible support structure by way of the very forward thinking Principle, Joe Erpelding, and highly engaged parent support system. Always readily accepting new volunteers, Tierra Bonita boasts a large volunteer-staffed PTA, and an well run Educational Foundation. These two organizations work hand in hand with the teachers and staff to bring the right supplementary programs and tools to the children's fingertips, including teacher workshops, state of the art technology such as smart boards, and supplemental art, music and science programs. Many of the teachers consistently go above and beyond, making themselves available to the students and their parents even outside of school hours, working with students and parents to employ individualized performance programs that help each student focus on their key learning areas using techniques that work best for the individual. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
