In 2025–26, students were proficient at rates close to California’s averages in English language arts (ELA), math, and science. The most important finding is that the school combines near-statewide proficiency with results that rank among the strongest of 10 nearby schools.

Compared with nearby schools, Thurgood Marshall ranked second in ELA and science and third in math: 49% were proficient in ELA, 37% in math, and 36% in science.
