Christa McAuliffe Elementary serves 476 students in grades K–5 in Oxnard, a community with several nearby schools for comparison. In 2025–26, its proficiency rates were higher than the Oxnard district averages in ELA, math and science, but lower than California’s in all three. The most important takeaway is that students are doing better than district averages, yet the school still has a substantial gap to the state—particularly in math.

Science is the school’s relative strength, while math is its weakest subject compared with California and nearby schools.
