Open Charter Magnet is a K–5 elementary school in Los Angeles, serving 390 students in the Los Angeles area. Its 2025–26 proficiency rates were 68% in English language arts (ELA), 52% in math and 62% in science. Most importantly, it ranked second among the eight nearby schools with scores supplied in all three subjects, behind Kentwood Elementary.

Open Charter’s results are well above state and district rates, with science its clearest strength: its science proficiency was 26 percentage points above the state and 30 above Los Angeles Unified. The school was also 19 points above the state in ELA and 14 points above in math. Compared with nearby-school averages, it was ahead by 24 points in ELA, 18 in math and 33 in science. About 20% of students were free/reduced lunch eligible that year, the second-lowest comparable rate nearby; WISH Community reported 17%.
