As a neighbor to Robert Hill Lane Elementary, I have serious concerns regarding administrative accountability and student safety.

The school allowed an unauthorized motorcycle academy to operate on campus for years - when I raised this issue with LAUSD regional director Carlos Montes, he attempted to defend the operation rather than address the issue.

Since then, the school’s maintenance staff has ignored repeated requests to tape the tetherball tether pole near my home to match the others.

More critically, I have witnessed concerning playground supervision, including an isolated male teacher speaking aggressively to students and a special education staff member failing to send a student to the nurse after a direct head fall - until I personally called the office.

The ongoing pattern and lax supervision reflects a deeply concerning lack of oversight. Close Quote
