Open Quote Darby has some excellent teachers, however the office staff including the Principal is very weak. It's impossible to get a straight answer out of this leadership. Also some parents and guardians are allowed to walk right into the principal's office any time, while others are told to make an appointment for a week away. The principal is very evasive and the teachers seem to be under an unusual amount of pressure. Darby does not seem like a very cohesive or happy place to be. There used to be assemblies on Fridays that highlighted the student achievements and rallyed for school spirit! Now they are short and boring - no more fun at this school. :( Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
