Summary

Lane Elementary serves 555 students in grades K–6 in Fresno, California, as part of Fresno Unified. The school’s most important challenge is low English language arts proficiency: in 2025–2026, 22% of students were proficient, compared with 40% in the district, 49% statewide and a 39% average at ten nearby schools.

Math is Lane’s strongest of the three core subjects relative to district and state results, but it remains behind nearby schools: 23% were proficient, versus 29% in the district, 38% statewide and 32% at nearby schools.
