Summary

Boulder Creek Elementary is a well-regarded K-8 school serving 839 students in Redding, California, operating within the Enterprise Elementary School District.

The school consistently performs above average, with its students scoring higher in English, Math, and Science than both the district and state averages. A standout strength is its exceptionally low chronic absenteeism rate of 6.1%, which is far better than many nearby schools like Rother Elementary (27.7%) and PACE Academy (55.9%), and shows a remarkable recovery from pandemic-era challenges. Boulder Creek achieves these strong results while spending less per student than several neighboring schools, such as Alta Mesa Elementary and Juniper.

Within its own district, Boulder Creek and Mistletoe Elementary are both high performers, though Boulder Creek maintains a significant advantage in student attendance. The school is particularly effective in supporting students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, achieving strong academic outcomes for this group. Parents may note that performance can vary by grade level, with middle school grades sometimes showing lower math scores, which is an area the school can focus on. Overall, Boulder Creek Elementary is recognized as a resilient and efficient school that delivers quality education.

Open Quote Very racist school. If your "white" you can go to the bathroom any time you like. If your not, "you need to wait." Also if you do poorly on test they do not enroll you the next comming year. Sadly they dont even tell you and you find out when you go look for your childs classes on the first day. Close Quote
