Valencia Academy of the Arts is a K–5 school in Pico Rivera, serving 398 students in the El Rancho Unified area. In 2025–26, 57% of students were proficient in English Language Arts, 43% in math, and 41% in science. Its most important distinction is that it outperformed both the state and district in all three subjects while ranking near the top among 11 nearby elementary schools.

ELA is Valencia’s strongest subject compared with nearby schools and the state: its 57% proficiency rate was second locally and 7 percentage points above the state’s 49%, as well as 13 points above the district’s 43%.
