Open Quote Ever since the new principal came on board, this school has made a complete 180. The faculty/staff are eager to learn and eager to teach. The YMCA is right on campus, making it easy for working parents. The PTA does an amazing job hosting multiple events throughout the year with limited resources. Great school, great community! Open Quote I've been at Wood Canyon for seven years now and love it...couldn't be happier with the education my kids receive as well as the caring teachers and staff. Love our running club, the Family Fun Nights, the science lab with new instructional aide they have hired...all great! Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
