Bonita High is a public high school in La Verne serving 1,911 students in grades 9–12, in the foothill communities east of Los Angeles and part of Bonita Unified. Its clearest distinction is that it leads four nearby conventional high schools in all three tested subjects, with especially strong English language arts results.

Bonita is strongest in English language arts (ELA): in 2025–2026, 89% of students were proficient, compared with 49% statewide and 73% in the district. Its closest nearby competitor, San Dimas High, had 81% proficiency.
