Six Rivers Charter High is a 106-student charter school serving grades 9–12 in Arcata, in Northern Humboldt Union High School District. Its latest academic results are mixed: science stands out, while math is the clearest concern, with 26% of students proficient in 2025–26 compared with 38% statewide and 28% in the district.

Science is the school’s strongest subject against both the state and nearby comprehensive high schools: 52% were proficient, versus 36% statewide and 40% in the district. That was the highest science result among Six Rivers, Arcata High, McKinleyville High and Eureka Senior High; it was 5 points above Arcata, the next-highest.
