Excel Academy Charter is an alternative K–12 school in Irvine, serving 660 students. Its 2025–2026 results place it among the strongest of the nearby schools with results available: it ranks second in ELA and math and leads in science.

The school’s strongest comparison is science: 58% of students were proficient, the highest nearby result, just ahead of Alternative Education-San Joaquin High at 57%.
