The Glenn County Office of Education has three schools serving 352 students: two schools spanning K–12 and one high school serving grades 9–12. The schools serve different student populations, and their 2025–2026 results show that all three trail California proficiency rates by a wide margin: the average of reported school results is 14% in English language arts (ELA), 2% in math and 6% in science, compared with 49%, 38% and 36% statewide. Math is the largest shortfall, at 36 percentage points below the state average.
William Finch leads in ELA and math, with 22% proficient in ELA and 7% in math.
