Summary:
Fallbrook Union High includes three California high schools serving grades 9–12: Fallbrook High, Oasis High (Alternative), and Ivy High (Continuation). In 2025–2026, results varied sharply by school: ELA was a relative strength at Fallbrook and Oasis, while Ivy’s proficiency was much lower across all three subjects. The clearest shared concern is math: every school fell below the statewide 38% proficiency rate, with results of 20% at Fallbrook, 5% at Oasis, and 0% at Ivy.
Oasis led the group in ELA at 55%, 3 percentage points above Fallbrook and 6 above the state. Fallbrook led in math and science, at 20% and 30%, but remained 18 points below the state in math and 6 points below in science. Ivy had the lowest results in each subject: 13% in ELA, 0% in math, and 2% in science. Oasis also had the strongest reported graduation and attendance measures: its graduation rate was 95%, versus 88% at Ivy, and its chronic absenteeism rate was 11%, compared with 65% at Ivy. These outcomes stand alongside Oasis’s low math proficiency, rather than replacing the need to consider each subject separately.
Proficiency fell at all three schools in all subjects from 2024–2025 to 2025–2026, while state results rose in math and science and edged up by less than 1 point in ELA. SchoolDigger statewide rankings also declined between 2023–2024 and 2025–2026: Fallbrook went from 62 to 49, Oasis from 64 to 39, and Ivy from 15 to 4. Other context differs, too: in 2024–2025, free/reduced lunch eligible shares were 73% at Oasis and 87% at Ivy; student-teacher ratios were 18.3 and 9.8, respectively. Ivy’s lower ratio did not coincide with higher test results in this comparison. Oasis and Ivy enroll 74 and 69 students, so their results may be more variable.
