Summary:
Maywood Middle is the only middle school listed in Corning Union Elementary, serving grades 6–8 and enrolling 515 students. In 2025–26, 27% of students met standards in English language arts (ELA), 18% in math, and 13% in science. Those results were close to the district’s: Maywood was about even in ELA and 1 point lower in math and 2 points lower in science. Compared with state results, however, the school was 22 points lower in ELA, 20 points lower in math, and 23 points lower in science. The most important finding for families is that Maywood’s results are near the district level but substantially below the state in all three subjects.
