In 2025–2026, the two schools with reported results had very different proficiency levels: Brawley Union High scored above the state in ELA, while Desert Valley High (Continuation) scored below the state in all three reported subjects. Student–teacher ratios were 23.1, 18.7, and 21.1, respectively; these measures describe differences among schools but do not explain their outcomes.
