Summary:

Rocketship Delta Prep District has one elementary school, Rocketship Delta Prep, serving kindergarten through grade 5, with 540 students in California. In 2025–2026, the school’s all-grade proficiency was 32% in ELA, 39% in math and 21% in science, compared with statewide results of 49%, 38% and 36%, respectively. The clearest concern is that ELA and science lagged the state by 17 and 15 percentage points.

There is no meaningful top or bottom school comparison because Rocketship Delta Prep is the district’s only school. Math was its strongest subject relative to California: the all-grade result was about 1 point above the state, although the school was below the state in each tested grade—by 2 points in grade 3, 4 in grade 4 and 3 in grade 5. ELA proficiency increased across grades 3 to 5, from 28% to 36%, but remained 13 to 16 points below state results. Grade 5 science was 14 points below the state.

Results improved in math and ELA over the two reported years, but science moved in the opposite direction. All-grade math proficiency rose 7 points from 2024–2025 to 2025–2026, while its gap with the state shifted from 5 points below to 1 point above; ELA rose 2 points and its shortfall narrowed by 2 points. Science proficiency fell 7 points as the state result rose 3, widening the school’s shortfall by 10 points. SchoolDigger placed the school at the 34th percentile in 2023–2024 and 2024–2025, then the 37th percentile in 2025–2026, with a 2-star rating all three years. For context, the 2024–2025 student–teacher ratio was 36, and 56% of students were free/reduced lunch eligible. With just one school, the data cannot show differences among schools in the district.
