Coronado, California, has four Coronado High, Coronado Village Elementary, Coronado Middle, and Silver Strand Elementary—serving kindergarten through grade 12. In 2025–2026, every school’s all-grades results were above statewide results in English language arts (ELA), math, and science. Across the four schools, averages were 25 points above the state in ELA, 26 in math, and 25 in science. The clearest overall finding is that Coronado schools score well above state results in all three subjects.
The leaders vary by subject: Coronado High led ELA at 80%, 7 points above the other schools’ average, while Silver Strand led math at 73% and science at 70%—12 and 11 points above the other schools’ averages. Coronado Middle had the lowest all-grades results: 68% in ELA, 56% in math, and 55% in science. Even so, those results were 19, 17, and 19 points above the state, respectively.
