James B Rolle School is a 567-student PK–6 elementary school in Yuma, serving families in the area through the Yuma Elementary District. SchoolDigger ranked it 501st of 900 Arizona schools in 2025–2026, at the 44th percentile with two stars; the district ranked 209th of 267, at the 22nd percentile with one star. The most important finding for families is a sharp grade-level contrast: fourth graders did well in both tested subjects, while fifth-grade math was notably weak.

Rolle’s strongest schoolwide result is ELA: 43% of students were proficient, compared with 41% statewide and 32% in the district, and this was the highest reported result among nearby schools. Its 31% math proficiency was 2 points below the state’s 33%, though 11 points above the district’s 20% and 5 points above the nearby-school average. Fourth grade was a bright spot: ELA proficiency was 52% and math was 41%, both above state and district results; only Palmcroft Elementary School scored higher among nearby schools with reported fourth-grade results.
