Boulder Creek High School serves 2,221 students in grades 7–12 in Anthem, Arizona, as part of the Deer Valley Unified District. Its results are strong overall, especially in eighth grade: 96% of eighth-graders were proficient in both English language arts (ELA) and math in 2025–26. Those rates were 43 and 50 percentage points above the district, respectively, and 57 and 66 points above the state—the school’s clearest standout result.

Across all grades, Boulder Creek was well ahead of the state and district in both subjects, but its local standing was stronger in ELA than in math. ELA proficiency was 67%, compared with 41% statewide and 55% in the district; among three nearby comprehensive high schools with comparable scores, Boulder Creek ranked second and was just above their 66% average. Math proficiency was 54%, versus 33% statewide and 49% in the district, but ranked third among those nearby schools and was below their 59% average.
