Indian Bend Elementary School serves 539 students in pre-K through grade 6 in Phoenix, within the Paradise Valley Unified District. The central concern is that its 2025–26 English language arts (ELA) and math proficiency rates are far below both state and district results: 23% in ELA versus 41% statewide and 54% districtwide, and 21% in math versus 33% statewide and 50% districtwide. These low results across both subjects are the most important finding for families.

Some SchoolDigger student-group rankings differed sharply from the overall standing: in 2022–23, the school ranked at the 86th percentile for how well it served Native American students, compared with the 43rd percentile overall; its ranking for serving multiracial students fell from the 78th to the 26th percentile between 2020–21 and 2022–23. The 2024–25 student-teacher ratio was 13.8, compared with a nearby-school average of 12.4; the reported free/reduced-lunch rate was 68% in 2022–23.
