Porter Elementary School serves 453 students in prekindergarten through sixth grade in Mesa, part of Mesa Unified District. Its 2025–26 all-grades results were 37% proficient in English language arts (ELA) and 28% in math, both below state and district averages. The clearest takeaway is a sharp grade-level split: sixth graders outperformed state benchmarks in both subjects, while third-grade ELA and fourth- and fifth-grade math results were notably low.

Overall, Porter is around the middle of the nearby group in ELA and math, not among its strongest schools.
