Littleton Elementary School has consistently ranked in the bottom quarter of Arizona elementary schools, with rankings ranging from 626 to 1103 out of 909 to 1226 schools over the past 10 years. The school's SchoolDigger rating has also been low, ranging from 0 to 2 stars out of 5 during this period. While the school's performance varies significantly across different student subgroups, it ranks relatively stronger for African American and English Language Learner students compared to other subgroups. Littleton Elementary School's proficiency rates in English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science are consistently lower than the state and district averages, often by 10-20 percentage points. Additionally, the school has experienced a concerning increase in dropout rates, rising from 3.3% in 2019-2020 to 6.1% in 2022-2023.

The nearby schools within the Littleton Elementary District, such as Fine Arts Academy, Collier Elementary, and Quentin Elementary, generally perform at a similar or slightly higher level than Littleton Elementary School across various metrics.
